Introducing Kalanilayam Kaladharan Marar, a passionate Chenda artist with a rich background in traditional Kerala music and percussion instruments. Starting his journey at just 12 years old, he honed his skills under the guidance of esteemed teachers and earned a Master's degree in Chenda from the renowned Unnai Warrier Smaaraka Kalanilayam. A versatile musician, he also plays Idakka and has collaborated with various artists across traditional art forms like Koodiyattam, Kathakali, and Mohiniyattam. Now based in Brampton, Canada, Kalanilayam has established the "Kaladharam Melam Troupe," where he dedicates himself to sharing his knowledge and providing exceptional training in Chenda.

Aravind Nair is a talented Maddalam artist, expertly trained under the esteemed Guru Kalamandalam Shankara Warrier. As an active member of his troupe he leads fellow musicians in captivating performances featuring traditional Kerala percussion instruments such as Melam, Thayambaka, and Panchavaadyam.
